Wow....What a week!!
It was His strength....it could have been accomplished in no other way but with and by His strength!! We praise Him for His presence all along the way.
Last Sunday night at 10:33 summer missionary #1 arrived....yesterday afternoon at 4:00, #'s 15, 16 & 17 left Lima for their places of service. In between, language immersion, a tour of the city, orientation and meetings with their stateside "partners" took place.
SMT05's assignment is different from any previous group's. They will serve on-site without returning to Lima until the end of the summer in late July. There will be a two day "r and r" period where someone from the REAP South Team will meet with them away from their ministry sites. We will spend time with them fellowshipping and having a "mid-summer" time of debriefing before they head back for another month of ministry and service.
It was a good week....a very hard one, but a good one! Thank you for your prayers!! Don't stop!!
