Research Trip to Yauyos...

Alan Stone is a friend from B'ham, AL who comes to Peru every year to go on a trip with me. He is the gentleman in photo below with his arms crossed just above the last post.

He and I traveled this time to the nearby province of Yauyos to research three villages.... Cacre...Hongos and Lincha. We discovered that Lincha cannot be reached by vehicle from the same vantage point as the other two. You either have to hike in from this side or drive many hours south along the panamerican highway and then many more into the mountains to reach it from the back side.

It was a great trip as we discovered some very precious but very few believers in the area. The photos show those we met as well as some countryside. The beauty is beyond description as well as the lostness.
