More news from the recent past.....

Soon after saying our "good-byes" to the SMT07 bunch we were off to the U.S. and our annual church planting training event/ATL07. It was attended by a great group of veteran as well as new leaders from our REAPSouth Partners. Dr. David Sills (Southern Seminary), Jackson & Doris Day (31 yrs. Brazil/IMB) and Martin Fleming (Park Cities BC, Dallas) were with us once again in providing leadership for the advanced track while Calvin & Devra Morris graced us again with their great instruction in the basic track along with Phil Kesler (Brazil/IMB) who was with us for the first time.

Following the training we were off on the mobiilization trail to recruit new REAPartners. Tennessee was the first stop with both Mike and Kathy traveling from Cookeville to Harragut. Then Mike was off alone to OK, TX, LA, AR, FL, GA & AL. The Lord presence was felt in a mighty way as He protected travels and blessed efforts. We continue to see the fruit of this trip and will for a long time.
Pray with us that the Lord will receive all the glory and praise as He adds to the REAPSouth Partner family.

A final highlight of our stateside trip was the "passing of the baton" between Alan and Sandy Stone to Dale and Vickie Pickens. The Stones were mentioned in a previous post as coming to join our team in January after serving as our stateside mobilizers for several years. Now that the Stones are coming to Peru the Pickens are taking their stateside post. Welcome to the team, Dale and Vickie.
