Glad to be back...
Saying "good-bye" to our son and grand daughter was tough but knowing that they are going to be "beginning again" in Atlanta with the hope of a fresh start and a new life is very encouraging. They move this weekend...start looking for new church and day-care and the first of April Josh begins to work at the Atlanta airport. Please continue to pray for their adjustment and the Lord's blessing on this new beginning.
They "come and they go"...children, that is! Our oldest, Shane, is coming to Peru this weekend and will be with us for a couple of months or more. He is taking a "sabbatical" from the restaurant business (waiting tables and a fling with management). When he returns in May (?) he may have the opportunity at a new job as a "store opener" or new restaurant opener. This means he will be working with the initial crew of waiters and staff at a newly opened Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Smoky Bones or Bahama Breeze somewhere among the growing list of Darden "casual dining" restaurants in North America. This would be for a few weeks and then on to another "opening". Pray that this is the right move for him and, if it is, that the Lord will bless Shane in it.
Our return to Lima was bitter-sweet in that we were overjoyed to be "back together" at "home" but sad in that our beloved pet "Heidi", who was in the care of friends while we were gone escaped from their house and is lost. We pray that she found a new home where she is loved and appreciated as she was with us but we are still hopeful that the Lord will return her. A new puppy would be fun but would not be our Heidi!!
The "busy season" is just about upon us as...eight teams come in March...we begin the big communications'/preparation with the summer missionary crew headed our way in May and we do some very badly needed research in northern Chile. Pray for patience and wisdom as individuals and as a team (Weavers and Bushes).
We are so very grateful to all of our family, friends and "partners in the harvest" for your calls, e-mails and prayerful support over the last several weeks. Thanks!!

Awww, poor Heidi. I hope she has found a nice place. The boys were looking forward to her. Have a great time with Shane.
Restaurant start-up. He must be like me, enjoying being under the gun. Starting up is the most tense and most exciting time whether it be a restaurant, chemical plant, or church.
