While we were gone....

While the rest of us were "on the road again" Kathy (the better half of this orange) was back home busy preparing "road meals" for two upcoming teams. One nine in size and the other forty-seven....yes, that is 47!

She cooks chili, vegetable beef soup, potato soup, chicken tetrazini (sp?), and chicken noodle soup for the supper meals. She freezes them in large ziplocks and the teams take out their choice each morning and then heats them that evening. For lunch she fixes pimento salad and chicken salad spreads. All of this is stored in coolers for the long trip from civilization but with the help of "Momma Kathy" they take a little of it with them.

She deserves a vacation.....
